How to Get Started.
Before you begin to fast, plan that the two days before, should not include alcohol, caffeine, sugar, wheat, animal meat, dairy and fish products. You want to keep your diet during these few weeks to just fruits, vegetables and beans that are organic.
A 36 hour fasting should start at 6pm until 8am, 36 hours later. There are variations that may allow for the consumption of some whole fruits and vegetables, some that may include one well balanced meal or some that will allow for light meals during the fast. Make sure that the fasting that you do, does not interfere with your health or your medications.
Now, What Do I Eat and how much……..?
Now that you know the basics of how a juice diet works, you will be able to see how your body can benefit. Of course, for this to happen, you need to be able to buy the right vegetables and fruit for your juice diet. To help you with that, follow these tips…. If you have access to organic fruit and vegetables, that is lovely, but if you don’t please don’t stress! Fruit and vegetables from your local supermarket will be absolutely just fine.
Consume at least 32 ounces up to 64 ounces of juice per day. You do not want to go less than this please. It is fine for you to consume juice that not diluted if you would like to.If you would like to dilute your juice, if you find straight juice too strong, use a mix of half water and half juice. You can mix juices of various types if you would like to.
Some great choices for your juice diet include things like cranberry, apple, spinach,watermelon, silver beet, beetroot and carrots. You can mix virtually any that you would like to, but try to avoid acidic citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and grapefruit.
